Heigl names baby after great-grandmother

Russia News.Net Tuesday 15th May, 2012

Katherine Heigl and her husband Josh Kelley have named their baby girl after the actress' great-grandmother Adalaide.

"Her full name is Adalaide Marie Hope Kelley -- Adalaide because of my great-grandmother, Marie after my middle name, and Hope because that is what the process became," the 33-year-old actress told Hello magazine.

The couple adopted the baby girl recently. Heigl says she and Kelley waited anxiously for news of Adalaide's birth before jetting off to a secret location in the US to collect her, reports contactmusic.com.

"We knew an approximate date of the delivery but we all know how unpredictable these things can be. So Josh and I were bouncing off the walls with excitement and anticipation just waiting for the call. It came late morning during the week and we were both home and on the phone together," she added.
