Bush promoted Georgian conflict to help McCain, says Putin

Russia News.Net
Thursday 28th August, 2008

Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has accused the U.S. of orchestrating the Georgian crisis to benefit one of the presidential candidates.

The White House says the claim is 'patently false.'

In an interview with the cable television network CNN, Mr. Putin said Russian defense officials told him the United States encouraged Georgia to attack the breakaway region of South Ossetia. The Russian prime minister did not identify which presidential candidate he was referring to, and he offered no proof of his accusation.

A White House spokeswoman, Dana Perino, called Mr. Putin's claim 'just not rational.' She said Russian defense officials are giving Mr. Putin bad advice.

The spokeswoman noted wide support for maintaining Georgia's territorial integrity, and she said President Bush is concerned that Russia is still not in full compliance with the French-mediated cease-fire in Georgia.

In Tbilisi, Georgian lawmakers unanimously backed a non-binding resolution calling on the government to break diplomatic ties with Russia and declare Georgia's two breakaway regions, Abkhazia and South Ossetia, areas under Russian occupation.

Earlier, Russia's Asian allies expressed concern about the Georgian crisis and called for dialogue. But leaders of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, meeting in the Tajikistan capital, did not express full support for Russian actions in South Ossetia. They stressed the importance of territorial integrity.

Their decision followed a personal appeal from Russian President Dmitri Medvedev, who outlined his country's position on the crisis. The Russian leader called the conflict probably the most dramatic episode of recent times, and he accused the Western news media of incorrectly portraying the actual aggressor.

The Shanghai Cooperation Organization brings together China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

Georgian troops went into South Ossetia on August seventh to try to retake control of the breakaway region. Russia replied with tanks and thousands of troops, saying it had to protect Russian citizens there.

Stop US's encroachments everywhere in the world.

Trust the Russians to say it like it is. The US’s involvement is plain for all to see. Arming and training Georgia to strike at the opportune time when Putin and Bush was attending the olympics in China. Putin says it like it is slamming western media bias reporting. Russia is doing the correct thing. While they’re at it they should also take back their ex-state Georgia to keep the US from encroaching in territories surrounding Russia.

Bush promoted Georgian conflict to help McCain, says Putin

salaam,
Bush adores war for he is not in the battle,
But sends many out to fight his battle against RIGHT as he claimed,
if it be a RIGHT a FIGHT required.
So his leadership exposed as left hand guidance where proof not required in claims.

Your weak English does not allow you the nuanced expressions that you might use in your mother tongue. You sound idiotic.

Break down the new word democracy

salaam,
first one syllable word is demo ; to show how and the last one syllable word is cracy so they exchanged the Z for a C for who would follow crazy knowingly?
Like crime they excahnged the Y for an i but kept the TRUTH to its original meaning,
for they liked not the word sin,
As Cry me is its original words taken from a truthful account of one syllable words held in TRUTH

Putin has done so much to Russia and it’s people comparing to your mad cowboy that makes your statement just laughable. Putin stability is OK, whilst your lair king proved many times over that he is definitely not the brightest crayon in the box. Accept it already, or try learning another language so you can get better clue about world affairs.

Present situation in Russian

Present situation in Russian bears a strong resemblance to that in Germany of 30-th years:, aggressive behavior against neighboring states, nationalistic demagogy, fuehrer, aspiration for world supremacy, short-term economic take-off, blitzkrieg and anschluss territory of a neighboring state upon the pretext of protection of alien residents, nation-wide giddiness due to early military successes, a connivance of some European countries, and eventually, a large-scale military adventure…..
