TAIPEI, Taiwan: Foxconn, the Taiwanese electronics giant that assembles Apple's iPhones, will unveil three of their own electric vehicles this week.
As a preview, Foxconn posted a video last week giving the public the first look at their electric vehicles.
In their online video, viewers can tour a new black sedan with slick full-width light bars running across the front and rear. From all indications, Pininfarina, the famed Italian designers, assisted in developing the auto's appearance.
Pininfarina is well known for having designed numerous Ferrari and Maserati models.
Other vehicles previewed online included an SUV and a bus.
The vehicles are being built under Foxconn's Foxtron brand.
In September, Foxconn announced it would buy Lordstown Motors assembly plant in Ohio for $230 million.
Foxconn will also cooperate with Fisker, another EV startup, to manufacture its vehicles starting in 2023.
