Ukrainian drone attack injures six in public park

Kievs forces struck Russias Donetsk on Sunday

A Ukrainian kamikaze drone struck a park in Russia's Donetsk on Sunday, injuring six people, including a teenage girl, according to regional authorities.

Denis Pushilin, head of the Donetsk People's Republic, said the UAV hit the Gulliver park in the western part of the city, an area that has often come under shelling during the conflict.

He added that Kiev's forces carried out 15 "armed attacks" on Donetsk and the nearby town of Makeevka, using 155mm artillery and drones.

Footage from RT's Murad Gazdiev, filmed shortly after the strike, shows debris, blood stains on the pavement, and benches damaged by shrapnel.

A school was also heavily damaged, though no one was injured inside as it was closed at the time.
